Neighbor of the Dead

A top-down action game, 'Neighbor of the Dead' places the player in a confined environment against hordes of zombies, requiring them to constantly move strategically through the rooms. It features a classic visual aesthetic reminiscent of NES and Commodore consoles.

The player follows the strange journey of Ken Scott, who arrives late at his friend's party in the suburbs of Foxtown, only to find himself defending against endless hordes of zombies while trying in vain to understand the bizarre occurrences.

The game consists of three phases in which the player must eliminate a specific number of zombies that constantly emerge from the four corners of the map. When this number is reached, the next stage is loaded. The player has only one pistol to defend against the hordes and can withstand three attacks. If their life points reach zero, they must restart the stage.

With the increasing number of appearing zombies, the player is encouraged to use their mobility to navigate the environment and use objects to their advantage, creating obstacles for their enemies. Occasionally, stronger and faster zombies appear to further destabilize the player, adding to the unpredictability of the situation.

'Neighbor of the Dead' combines simplicity and style in chaotic gameplay that entertains players seeking a challenging experience reminiscent of the classic games that this top-down shooter draws inspiration from.
